Overperformers in Week 10 of the NFL Season

As we head into Week 10 of the 2025 season, it's worth stepping back and spotlighting players who have exceeded expectations. While the usual headliners dominate the coverage, several others are quietly having breakout years.

Dak Prescott – QB, Dallas Cowboys

Despite familiar criticism of Prescott and the Cowboys’ defense, Prescott’s 2025 campaign has been strong. He currently has 2,319 passing yards (6th in the league) and 17 touchdowns (tied-7th) with just 6 interceptions, and a QBR of 74.4 (3rd in the league). What makes this performance particularly notable is that the Cowboys are still missing one of their top receivers and continue to struggle defensively. Nevertheless, Prescott is keeping the offense afloat — a testament to him over-performing relative to the many criticisms.

J.K. Dobbins – RB, Denver Broncos

Dobbins signed late and quietly, yet he’s made an immediate impact. In 2025 he has amassed 772 rushing yards (5th in the league) with a solid 5.0-yard average per carry and 4 rushing touchdowns. For a player who entered the season with questions about fit and durability, this level of production is a pleasant surprise — and positions him well to challenge the 1,000-yard mark if he stays healthy.

Stefon Diggs – WR, New England Patriots

Diggs’ move to New England came with plenty of questions: a new offense, recovering from injury, and adapting to a different role. He has responded with 50 receptions, 554 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns so far in 2025. While the touchdown count is modest, the yardage and consistency show he’s regained form and is a legitimate weapon in a previously uncertain passing game.

Nik Bonitto – LB/EDGE, Denver Broncos

Bonitto entered the 2025 season under the radar but has emerged as one of the league’s most disruptive defenders. He currently has 9.5 sacks, placing him 3rd in the NFL this year. For a player without big name recognition heading into the year, this level of production is excellent — and his impact has been a major driver of the Broncos’ defense.
